Web.AppStorm editor Matthew Guay lives and works in Thailand. He works from a variety of interesting workspaces, including this one. Click the image to view it on Flickr.
His outdoors workspace here includes a picnic table, iPad 1, keyboard, and our dog to keep him company. That’s about as simple as it gets!
I imagine that working in such interesting places could give Matt some great excuses. Why was that post late, Matt? My crocodile ate it.
What do you think of Matt's workspace? Let us know in the comments.
Would you like your workspace featured on Envato Notes? Upload your photo to somewhere on the Web and let us know about it on our Write a Post page. Or upload it to Flickr and tag it with #envatonotesworkspaces. Either way, add an interesting description. Each week we'll choose and publish a new photo.

Playing xylophone, glockenspiel and vibraphone at primary school, sitting at home writing random songs, improvising classical or jazz at the piano or guitar, and taking care of anything with electrons flowing through it. Meet the AudioJungle team.
Welcome to AudioJungle!
AudioJungle officially opened its doors in May, 2008. Prior to that, some of our audio was available on ActiveDen, or "FlashDen" as it was known back then. It wasn't until AudioJungle became an entirely separate site that we started to raise both the quality and quantity of audio in our library. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, affordable Royalty-Free music, and this is mostly down to the incredible authors who are part of the AudioJungle community. We are very proud of the music we offer on AudioJungle and hope that you'll always be able to find the perfect audio for your next project on our site.
The People Who Make It Happen
Sometimes we forget about the people that work hard behind the scenes to keep everything operating smoothly and effectively on a day-to-day basis. Let's take a look at the team behind AudioJungle.
Scott Wills | scottwills
The most important thing in Scott's life is music. But if his wife is reading, it's the second most important thing in his life. Originally from England, Scott now resides in Tennessee in the USA. His passion for music began at an early age when he played xylophone, glockenspiel and vibraphone at primary school. He was the only kid at school with three pairs of arms so a talent for percussion was almost destiny. Life changed for Scott when his parents bought him his very first Yamaha keyboard and quickly learned to play songs by ear. After many headaches and bleeding eardrums from pounding the keys with his ears, Scott spent his early teenage years composing and producing soundtracker music on his Atari ST and had some notoriety as a musician for several European demo crews.
As an adult, Scott's passion for music was solidified when he became both an author and reviewer for AudioJungle which eventually led to Scott becoming the site manager, a position he is very proud of. As Scott himself describes, "My music was solidified when I became both an author and reviewer for AudioJungle which eventually led to becoming the site manager, a position I'm very proud of." Scott informs us that his musical weapons of choice are Logic Studio, a Casio Privia PX-400R, the M-Audio Oxygen 25 and the M-Audio Oxygen 49. With an album in iTunes and an unreleased Xbox 360 soundtrack already under his belt, Scott is now focused and dedicated to the future growth and success of AudioJungle for both authors and customers. He sincerely hopes you'll stick around for the ride.
Reviewers (AKA "The Dream Team")
Liam Bradbury | liambradbury
Liam is 24, lives just outside Manchester in the UK and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music at Salford University, specialising in composition and arranging. For the past 5 years Liam has composed orchestral soundtracks to independent films / video games and regularly records local bands in his home recording studio. As well as working for AudioJungle he is an avid gamer! You can find him on Modern Warfare 2 regularly being shot at (gamertag = MJ Da Freak).
In his spare time he enjoys nothing more than to sit at home in his studio writing random songs. He is a member of a UK comedy hip-hop group and produces all the music for them. If anyone would like some advice with the composition of their songs then contact Liam and he will try his best to help!
Adrien Gardiner | ADG3Studios
Adrien is a jack of all trades when it comes to liking stuff. What kind of stuff? Well, besides working for Envato, he likes to spend his time improvising classical or jazz at the piano or guitar, and cooking for guests. Whether it's a cherry infused duck magret, or a crustacean based cream sauce, he'll make it taste good for you. But he also loves burgers and miso, which keeps us guessing.
He likes to read up on any science, though he's been known to dabble in astrology… yeah… weird. Otherwise he's a big fan of chess and scrabble, feels blissfully at home at 35,000 feet in the air, can easily talk to cats, and he's also been known to mix more than 4 languages in one sentence. He also knows a lot about dishwashers and washing machines, but he doesn't do installations. And now that he has more time on his hands, he's really looking forward to spending it helping out the community here, writing new music, and finally updating his long lost website… soon!
Stefan Gustafsson | Solidbeats
Stefan has been interested in music since '94 when he first tried out FastTracker II on his friend's super computer, with a whopping 166mHz of brutal power! He immediately ran home and nagged his parents for his own machine and eventually started to produce music himself.
What you don't know about Stefan is that he's quite the mean beatboxer, and has several first place pingpong trophies to boot. Every now and then he gets restless and breaks out the old skateboard, or snowboard, which usually ends up with Stefan counting bruises and scabs, which he seems to enjoy quite a lot.
His latest passion is photography, which he picked up only a year and a half ago. He's been hooked ever since. It's a really rewarding challenge, but nothing compared to the baby boy that he is expecting in February 2011!
Wish him good luck, he's gonna need it!
Claudiu Moga | NikiN
Hailing from a small town like Alba Iulia, Romania, Claudiu was never the guy who just likes something. It has to be a full-time obsession, posters on the wall and everything. He also gets in the habit of writing about the things he enjoys. If he likes a song or a band, it's not enough to just listen and enjoy — no, Claudiu simply has to write about it, usually on his personal blog, the only one of his 'friends' who doesn't get bored with hearing him praising some B-side of a side-project of that guy who was in that band that had a one-hit wonder back in the day. It's pretty much the same with movies.
To take a break from all this writing, Claudiu relaxes with some short stories. He doesn't read them though, he writes them. And by the way, Claudiu is a self-hating writer, because he desperately wants to consider himself an artist more than a critic. His biggest dream is that one day reviewing files for AudioJungle means writing a two-page essay on each and every submission. Now, that's reviewing!
Andy Slatter | Slats
Andy is a self-taught musician/ multi-instrumentalist, having first picked up the guitar over 25 years ago and quickly became fascinated with the whole process of composing, arranging, and recording music. Although a fan of progressive rock, from day one he was interested in many different genres of music and many different instruments. Nowadays, as well as guitar, Andy regularly plays bass, ukelele, mandolin, bouzouki, 5 string banjo, percussion, keyboard, and much to his wife's annoyance, the fiddle ( rather badly ).
In 2006 Andy completed a two year course and attained a diploma in the production of music for the media while simultaneously working on a wide variety of film, advertising, animation, corporate and TV music projects. This gave Andy invaluable experience in the artistic and technical side of his field needed to produce music for the media, and to write to picture.
Andy has worked his way through all the versions of Cubase, from the Atari days, up to version 5.5. He is very comfortable using Cubase, and at the moment he also enjoys getting to know Reason 5 and Record 1.5. Andy is also very interested in graphics, video production, animation, and most things multimedia. In fact, Andy tells us that he and his computer are pretty much joined at the hip! Andy sometimes writes tutorials for Audiotuts+ and can be found on Twitter and on MySpace.
Robert Astleford | RobGD
Rob likes to fix things, make music, and keep up with Mixed Martial Arts. He's a hamburger and french fry driven machine. As Chief Engineer in a Richmond, Virginia radio cluster, Rob takes care of anything with electrons flowing through it. Rob has a modest local Web company and does freelance work as an outlet for his creative urges. Despite his graphic arts, system administration, database and coding background, he likes to stick to the music here at AudioJungle and loves to help folks out whenever they ask. He loves to talk about new gadgets and software. Drop by the forums and say hello and/or follow Rob on Twitter!
